Job Description: This is an entry level secretarial and clerical position for a highly dynamic and enthusiastic young individual open to learn and to take initiatives in supporting office and project operations. While assisting with administrative tasks, he/she will also be responsible for logistical support for smooth office operation. The GROSS salary is 60,000 AMD.
Job Responsibilities
• Arrange reception of guests, handle phone calls, take and proceed messages,
• Type and process various documents and data entry, as and when required,
• Keep filing/document management system for electronic and paper documents organized,
• Make arrangements for events, meetings and trips, including for foreign visitors,
• Ensure proper office maintenance and oversee janitorial services,
• Handle timely purchase request, orders for commodities, and expense reports.
• Develop and maintain the office inventory system,
• Assist in other administrative and clerical tasks as requested.
Required Qualifications
• Relevant experience is desired but not mandatory,
• Very energetic, organized and task oriented self starter who can work independently, while setting priorities,
• Technologically literate to operate basic office equipment
• Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Internet and e-mail and other commonly used software,
• Good organizational skills and record keeping (attention to detail is critical),
• Cheerful presence and people skills,
• Oral and written communication skills in Armenian, & preferably in English,
• Commitment to the YMCA mission and values,
• Ability and willingness to travel as frequently as needed to YMCA local communities, including overnight stays at YMCA camp sites and host families.
