Can I send my application to you?
Recruiter.am is not an employment agency in the traditional sense, so we do not
accept CVs or job applications by post or email. The web site is set up for you
to carry out searches, and allow recruiters to match you to their positions via
your Resume. When you complete an application online, you are contacting the recruiter
directly, in a format that they can accept and process easily.
Why haven't I had a response to my application?
When you apply for a job advertised on Recruiter.am, you are effectively emailing
the advertiser. Recruiter.am does encourage our advertisers to respond to all applications,
but unfortunately this does not always happen. It is always a good idea to follow
up your application with an email or phone call.
As Recruiter.am is not an employment agency in the traditional sense, we do not
take part in the selection process. For feedback on how your application is progressing
you need to contact the advertiser. If you have used the 'Apply for this job' button,
you can usually get their contact details by logging in to your 'My Portal' account,
and clicking on the 'Applications
And Invitations ' link. On this page will be listed all the jobs you have
applied for as well as all company invitation that are waiting for your response.
Click on the job title to see the details of the jobs.
Can foreign nationals apply for jobs in the Armenia via Recruiter.am?
Yes, foreign nationals can apply for jobs advertised on Recruiter.am. You must,
however, be legally eligible to work in the country a specific job is based in.
Can foreign companies announce their vacancies in Recruiter.am Job Portal?
Yes, absolutely. No matter whether company is looking for a candidate in Armenia
or any other country they can announce vacancies in Recruiter.am Job Portal by selecting
appropriate country.
What does my online application look like?
When you send an online application via Recruiter.am, we attach your CV to an email
and include the text of any cover letter you have written when you applied and your
answer to the work eligibility question. The email also includes your email address
so that the recruiter can contact you about the job.
How can I contact the recruiter about my application?
When you applied from Recruiter.am online, you'll get all your communication with
employer in the one centralize place in your application and invitation page. You
can also view whether or not your application have been reviewed. You can also find
company details in the vacancy announcement by reviewing vacancy.
Jobseeker profile questions
How will filling in a 'Jobseeker Profile/Resume' help me?
When you complete your online resume, you are storing relevant information about
you your contact information and your work experience, in a format that a recruiter
can search on using the tools we provide them. It is highly recommended to fill
professional resume, you can find many articles and examples. So recruiters can
search our database to find jobseekers (you) that best match the positions they
have. This way, you stand a chance of being offered a job that suits your skills,
without having to look for it.
I just want to apply online, do I have to fill in the Resume?
Yes, for applying for a job you need to have online resume. In fact it is not to
professional to apply for any job without resume as resume is a tool for promoting
yourself . Actually it is the only tool for candidate at the time of job application
to take an interest of recruiters or HR managers.
How do recruiters use my Resume?
Your profile is stored in our candidate database, and its use is controlled by you.
Recruiters use a tool we offer called 'Candidate search' in which they can specify
the type of candidate they are looking for, and then search the database for matches.
You will only be included in the search if you have made your profile available
to be searched. When recruiters find a match, they can contact the candidate.
How do I upload my CV?
Click Create
Resume on the 'My Portal' menu under the logo on any page when you have
logged in. If you are a new user, follow the prompts to create a new account.
Online Resume builder will navigate you for creating professional fully formatted
online resume-just follow few simple steps to build your career.
Every page is supported with relevant help on how to create resume or use tool.
How do I replace my CV?
To change your CV you should first go to the All Resumes
and select resume you would like to change. then click edit. You'll be able
to change edit any of the 5 pages of your resume separately.
Finally, go to the visibility settings page and change your visibility (if applicable)
and click publish. Your CV has now been updated.
Please make sure you review your created resume and amend if applicable.
Can I send you my CV?
Unfortunately, Recruiter.am does not accept CVs by email - they can only be uploaded
after registering to use My Portal.
How do I upload/change work experience of my CV/Resume?
To add work experience there are 4 main options.
- HTML (convenient in case if you already have your resume in html format and can
copy paste with HTML tags, or you are familiar with HTML and want to type tags in
the Text area). For this option click Source button (

on the editor.
- TXT format. Click the T button (
 ) on the Editor
Menu and copy paste your text (i.e. from notepad) into text area and then click
OK. Your Work experience will appear in the Work Experience text area.
- Word Format (the most popular format). Word format is used in case
you already have your resume and want to copy and paste it quickly. You need to
click W button (
 ) on the editor menu and copy
+Paste your resume text into text area.
- You can type your work experience directly to Work experience text area. This option
can be used if you don't have resume created.
Note: You may need to allow POP up window on
your browser depending on your browser setting to be able to open small window to
insert your work experience.

How can I stop my current employer from seeing my Jobseeker Profile?
Recruiter.am has four levels of privacy for the Jobseeker Profile. Using the Change
resume Visibility Settings in the resume view page , once you have logged in, you
can choose to:
- Make all your information searchable. This includes your name, contact details and
CV.
- Make only your experience profile and resume, visible for specific companies (you
can select from list)
- Make only your experience profile and resume, invisible for specific companies (you
can select from list)
- Make all of your information private. You Jobseeker Profile becomes hidden and is
no longer able to be found be recruiters. You are still able to view it via your
My Portal and can choose to make it viewable again at any time.
These options are found at the bottom of the Jobseeker Profile page. You will need
to click on the 'Save my profile' button after you make your selection.
How do I keep my Jobseeker Profile on Recruiter.am completely private?
To make your profile completely private, click on the radio button in the resume
visibility page resume is accesible to "NO ONE". I don't want recruiters to be able
to view my jobseeker profile. Then click on the 'Publish' button.
Email questions
How can I set up a Jobs By Email account?
You can create a JBE account in the Jobs by Email menu when you are logged in. Or
you'll automatically get once you build your resume. Based on the resume we can
take all required information for JBE Agent.
Alternatively, you can click on the 'Email me jobs like this' link found on either
a job results page or a job details page. You will be asked to enter some account
information again and the search criteria you used to get to the results or details
page will be used to create the JBE. We will send you an email confirming your account
and containing the password for your new account so that you can manage your JBE
alerts.
Recruiter.am automatically creates a JBE when you build your online resume. You
can change your subscription settings at any time.
How can I change the email address I have registered with?
To change your current email address, log into your 'My Poratal' with your account
and click on 'Change Email Address
'. You can enter a new email address in the 'Change email address' section. If you
change your email address with us, remember to use the new ones next time you log
in. Also remember that all emails from us, including JBEs, apply online confirmation
emails and emails about new products and services will be sent to this new email
address.
How do I stop receiving emails from Recruiter.am?
To unsubscribe from the Jobs By Email service, log into My Portal of Recruiter.am.
Scroll down to the Jobs By Email section. Click on the 'Don't send email' radio
button to stop the email but save it for future use.
To stop recruiters from being able to view your Jobseeker Profile and contact you
about jobs you should log into My Portal . In the My Portal All Resumes
section, select the resume you would like to change visibility settings. In the
resume view mode you would see on the top of page Change
Visibility Settings. There are 4 type of settings.
button, At the bottom in the Jobseeker Profile visibility options, you will
need to select the third option which reads 'No, I don't want recruiters to be able
to view my jobseeker profile.'
To stop receiving jobs via Instant job match, log into My Portal. Within the Instant
job match section, select the option which reads 'Do NOT send me instant job matches'.
I have changed my email address, and am now no longer receiving jobs by email, what
do I need to do now?
If you are not receiving 'Jobs by email' at your new email address, try clicking
on the 'Don't send email' option, then clicking them back to 'Send emails'. This
should fix it.
Registration questions
How do I register to use Recruiter.am?
There are several ways to register to use Recruiter.am. The easiest is to click
on the 'Login area' "Registers link" button, which appears just under the Recruiter.am
logo on every page. Choose what type of user you are (whether you are company, candidate
or agency). If you are candidate you can register by clicking
"Online resume Builder" on the very right side of horizontal menu, which
is available on every page
Follow the simple prompts and you will have a My Portal account within minutes.
I have a 'My Portal' account, but cannot log in, what can I do?
Always use the full email address that you specified when you created the account,
and the correct password.
If you have forgotten your password, click on the 'Forgot password' link, and we
will email it to you.
